This Privacy Charter sets out how KidsGames (the "site", "we", "us") receives, processes, and routes information when you connect to our site and services (the "Service"). Connecting to the Service means you accept the practices listed below.
1. Definitions used on this page
"Personal data" means information that, alone or combined with other records on the site, can identify an individual player. "Telemetry" or "usage logs" means data generated automatically by your session β for example device class, approximate region, and which pages you opened. "Cookies" and similar storage are small files the browser keeps so a site can remember preferences, game features correctly, and measure how the site performs.
2. What the site receives
Telemetry and technical logs
We may process the following:
- IP address (often tgamecated or rolled up to a regional form for security checks and aggregate analytics)
- Browser engine and operating system identifiers
- Device class (desktop, tablet, handheld)
- Referrer URL, approximate dwell time, and basic interaction logs needed to keep the site operational
Information you send on purpose
If you fill out the contact form or the developer link form, the site receives the inbox and message body you typed plus any optional fields you completed. We only use that payload to reply unless a legal duty forces a different action.
Player profiles
If you choose to provision a profile, we store the handle and authentication identifiers you select. The Service is playable without a profile, so we never request personal identifiers just to launch a game.
3. Cookies and similar storage
We use cookies and equivalent storage to keep core features gamening, remember your HUD mode, suppress repeated prompts, and measure which categories are healthy. Some cookies expire when the tab closes, others persist for a defined window. You can configure cookie behaviour in your browser; blocking categories may degrade certain features (notably ads-supported flows).
4. Why we hold what we hold
The site uses collected information to deliver and protect the Service, refine layout and play times, observe high-level usage trends, respond to support messages, comply with legal duties, and detect abuse, fraud, or outages.
5. Sponsored game and analytics
We may carry advertising. Ad partners can use cookies, pixels, or device-graph identifiers to serve and measure ads, cap frequency, and build aggregate statistics. We may also use analytics tooling to see anonymised traffic patterns (for example which categories are most active). We do not list your personal data for cash; some jurisdictions still treat targeted advertising or shared analytics as a "sale" or "sharing" β review your local rights if that classification matters to you.
6. Routing your information to others
We may route data to service providers (hosting, email transit, security, analytics, advertising) who process it on the site's behalf and under instruction. We may also disclose information if a law, court order, or regulator demands it, to protect the rights, property, or safety of users, the site, or the public, or as part of a corporate event such as a merger or asset transfer where data is included in the transferred unit.
7. Retention windows
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, to resolve disputes, and to satisfy legal, security, and accounting duties. Raw telemetry logs are typically held for shorter windows unless a valid purpose requires longer retention.
8. Security posture
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee perfect security. Use a modern, patched browser, do not share access codes, and report unusual behaviour to contact@kids-games.uk.
9. Players under 13
The Service targets a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from players under 13 in ways that would require verifiable parental consent under applicable child-privacy rules. If you believe a child sent us personal data, send a request to contact@kids-games.uk and we will respond appropriately.
10. Third-party logs and external destinations
Games and outbound links may be hosted or game by third parties. Their privacy practices are their own. Read their policies before sharing additional information on their properties.
11. Your rights and configuration choices
Depending on jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing, or to receive your data in a portable format. You may also be able to opt out of certain "sales" or cross-context advertising "sharing" where local law allows. Send requests to contact@kids-games.uk; we may need to verify your identity before honouring them.
12. Cross-border processing
Our infrastructure and partners may be located in countries other than yours. By using the Service, you accept that your information may be processed in jurisdictions with different data-protection rules than your home jurisdiction.
13. Charter updates
We may update this charter. When that happens, we adjust the operating-revision date above and, for material changes, may push a banner or in-app notice. Continuing to use the Service after the update means you accept the new charter for information collected from that point onward, subject to applicable law.
